TREATMENT OF GASTRIC HYPERACIDITY

Composition
• Esomeprazole 40 mg

How To Use

• Take one capsule of Nexium 40 mg daily, unless your doctor instructs otherwise.
• Take the capsule at the same time every day, either before or after eating.
• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule.
• Talk to your doctor before taking Nexium 40 mg if you have any allergies or medical conditions, including liver or kidney problems.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
• If it is near the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for any missed ones.
• Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter ones and supplements, as they may interact with Emanera 40 mg.

Indication

• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease
• Healing of erosive esophagitis
• Symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease
• Treatment of Helicobacter pylori eradication
• Prevention of NSAID associated gastric ulcer in patients at risk who require continuous NSAID treatment
• Treatment of Zollinger Ellison Syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions.

Possible side effects:
• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Dizziness
• Abdominal pain
• Constipation
• Flatulence
• Vomiting
• Skin rash

Warnings:

• Patients who are allergic to the drug should not take it.
• Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and pediatric patients are advised to be cautious before taking this medication.
• EMANERA should not be taken with antacids or other acid-lowering drugs.
• Patients who have a history of liver, kidney, or heart disease should consult with their doctor before taking this medication.
• If symptoms persist or worsen after taking EMANERA, patients should stop taking the medication and consult with their doctor.
• Overdosing on EMANERA can lead to serious side effects and even death.

Properties
