Glucosamine is one of the components of tissue, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and is important for the smooth movement of joints.
Increasing evidence shows Glucosamine has a supportive role (amino sugar glucose) along with Omega 3 in maintaining healthy joints and reducing the pain in degenerative joint conditions.
Collagen is a natural protein that provides strength and flexibility and supports connective tissues in the ligaments, tendons, bones and other parts of the body.
How to use:
Take one capsule of cod liver oil and fish oil and one tablet of glucosamine a day with a cold drink.
The glucosamine tablet can be divided into two halves for ease of swallowing (if desired).
Caution & Warnings:
Do not exceed the recommended amount.
If you are allergic to the active substances or to any of the excipients. or If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor.
The product should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to fish and/or shellfish.
There is some evidence to suggest that fish oil supplements may adversely affect patients with aspirin-sensitive asthma. Those have to be monitored appropriately.
Patients with hepatic impairment should be monitored especially if they receive high doses.
The following are side effects that can happen with this medicine:
Gastrointestinal complaints such as eructation, fishy smell and taste, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Skin reactions such as rash, acne, eczema, pruritus and urticaria.
Patients with hypertriglyceridemia may experience moderate increases in hepatic transaminases.
It is advisable to monitor patients with bleeding disorders and those receiving anticoagulant therapy or other drugs affecting coagulation.
Store in a cool, dry place, below 25ºC.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use JointCare Max after the expiry date, which is stated on the carton.
